Determining your Temperature Type™
Because temperature tolerances differ from person to person, in order to provide the best results, the weather alert chatbot needs to know your preferred temperature type. Please select the type that is closest to your temperature tolerance based on the descriptions below. You will have the opportunity to change your selection later if you choose.
Cold Temperature Type
In the summer, you find temperatures near 80°F/27°C hot, even with low humidity, but it doesn’t feel cool to you until it drops below 60°F/16°C. In the winter, you typically wear a winter jacket around freezing (32°F/0°C), but you don’t need a parka unless it’s closer to 20°F/-7°C or you're outside for extended periods.
Hot Temperature Type
In the summer, you find temperatures near 80°F/27°C more warm than hot, even with some humidity, but it starts feeling cool to you when it drops below 70°F/21°C. In the winter, you consider 32°F/0°C extremely cold and would want a parka for even short periods outside at that temperature.
